Stop Junk Mail is a not-for-profit campaign group advising people how to reduce unwanted mail. It is the only organisation of its kind in the UK.
In the short time that we have been around (Stop Junk Mail was founded in 2007) we have grown considerably and we have ambitious plans for the future. In order to continue to make an impact and to make junk mail a thing of the past, we need more people to become actively involved in our campaign.
We currently have three vacancies:
From time to time we are asked to appear on radio or television programs. We are looking for someone who can 'sell' the Stop Junk Mail message in a professional and clear way. Although we are currently not in a position to offer more than a good bottle of Chablis for your work, this is an interesting position for anyone interested in public relations.
Our website is growing all the time and we have a number of ideas for applications that will help people reducing junk mail. To help us develop our website further we are looking for people with sound PHP and MySQL skills. If that sounds like you and you have some spare time to give to a good cause, please do get in touch.
We produce lots of writings and unfortunately don’t always have the time to triple-check the grammar, spelling and syntax of what we produce. It would therefore be a real help to have someone on board with great English language skills and the time and stamina to edit our work.
For more information about any of these vacancies, please contact our Co-ordinator Robert Rijkhoff on telephone number 01603 618185, or contact us via the Contact page.
