Stop Junk Mail

The Science of Junk Busting

Stickers, labels, envelopes, and more…

Stop Junk Mail is funded by the sale of 'No Junk Mail' signs and other products that help reduce junk mail and paper waste. 10% of sticker sales goes to a good cause. Currently, I'm raising money for The ObserverTree.

Letterbox stickers (£0.90)

The trick to stopping unaddressed junk mail is that there are two things you need to do; signing up to the Door-to-Door Opt-Out will stop unaddressed mail items pushed through the door by the postman while an anti-junk mail sticker will stop leaflets from local businesses. To help you eridicate leaflets you'll get an opt-out card to register with Royal Mail's opt-out scheme for leaflets with your order, for free.

Letterbox signs (£4.50)

Stop Junk Mail sells aluminium versions of both the 'No Junk Mail' and 'No Commercial Leaflets' stickers.

Doorbell stickers (£0.60)

Don't want salespeople knocking on your door? A simple 'No Cold Callers' sticker will deter them. These stickers are available in white or red and are small enough (3 x 3cm, or 1.2 x 1.2in) to fit near your doorbell / doorknocker.

Return to sender goodies

Any addressed junk mail with a return address can be sent back to the sender. Using these gummed ('lick & stick') return to sender labels or a return to sender stamper makes the job easier and gives the sender a clear message.

A pad with 20 organic return to sender labels costs £1.25 plus 60p for postage. The return to sender stamper costs £10 plus £2.70 for postage.

Envelope re-use labels and junk mail envelopes

The good old envelope re-use label still exists… these gummed organic labels help reduce paper waste and will make your letters look more cheerful. If you want a more stylish envelope you can get a set of five handmade junk mail envelopes.

A pad with 50 envelope re-use labels costs £2.50 plus £1.20 postage (for up to three pads). A set of five radomly picked junk mail envelopes costs £1.
